From high-school sweethearts to husband and wife, Morgan and Lachlan’s love story is one woven through years of milestones, shared moments, and the unmistakable spark of growing up side by side. Connected through their schools, they first knew each other as familiar faces at events — but what began as teenage friendship quickly grew into a bond that followed them through formals, celebrations, and into adulthood.
Today, that early spark has become a lifelong partnership.
The Proposal
Lachlan proposed on the front porch of the home they had just bought — a place filled with hope, possibility, and the beginning of their next chapter. The morning after, he surprised Morgan with a scenic helicopter flight from McLaren Vale to Kangaroo Island, where they spent days soaking in the quiet beauty of Stokes Bay at Snug Stowaway.
The celebrations continued with another flight over the River to join loved ones — a whirlwind week of joy, surprises, and memory-making neither will ever forget.
The Wedding Day
Date: 1 March 2025
Ceremony & Reception: Bird in Hand Winery, Woodside — LVN Restaurant
Their wedding was designed to feel intimate, modern and effortlessly elegant. LVN Restaurant — an extension of Bird in Hand’s commitment to art, design, and culinary excellence — offered a refined, architectural backdrop illuminated by taper candles as the sun set. The space’s warmth and sophistication created a beautifully balanced atmosphere, both romantic and contemporary.
Executive Chef Jacob Davey curated an evolving tasting menu that became a true highlight of the day — a sensory experience that left a lasting impression on their guests.
Meaningful Details
Jewellery played a deeply sentimental role in their celebration.
Morgan’s engagement ring is a trilogy design — a style her mother has worn her entire life. As a triplet herself, the symbolism felt fated: three stones representing the rhythm of life in threes, past–present–future, and the beating heart of their story.
Her custom wedding band was crafted to scallop perfectly around the trilogy ring, its small diamonds nestled into each crescent. Morgan describes the two rings together as “puzzle pieces that fit effortlessly — intertwined, meaningful, and symbolic of our connection.”
The Jewellery
Pieces:
• Engagement ring
• Bride’s wedding band
• Groom’s wedding band
What drew her to the design:
The trilogy concept resonated instantly — a timeless representation of their journey together. The harmony between the engagement ring and custom-fitted wedding band brings an added layer of sentiment and craftsmanship Morgan cherishes every day.
What it means to her:
A daily reminder of the past they’ve shared, the present they’re building, and the future ahead — all held within a piece created just for them.

Advice for Other Couples
“Choose rings that reflect your story and personalities, not trends. Explore custom options, take your time, and choose something meaningful. You’ll wear it every day — and you’re in good hands with James.”
